Karrol, we're just thrilled by this work. Thrilled. The sunroom has added so much more light and we spend lots of time bird-watching and watching the clouds roll in. I even love looking out at rain storms. I love the way the rain comes off the roof! I'm serious. I really do love the colors Ellie picked. The sunroom colors change from morning light to evening light. It's magic. And the bedroom...it doesn't even feel like it's ours. I keep telling Ellie I feel like I'm sleeping in someone else's master bedroom or in an upscale hotel. It's so special and I go out like a light with our very own remote-controlled overhead fan!!!! Remember, I'm a former Peace Corps Volunteer accustomed to sleeping in sweltering heat with mosquito netting. I think that qualifies me to appreciate this beautiful bedroom even more.
Ellie's always wanted a walk-in closet. Again, such a beautiful job. I have endeavored to put all my clothes in the old closet so she can really enjoy it. Well, she allows my bathrobe in there...so I can tastefully transition to our Serengeti Bathroom! Ha, ha.
Not only have you guys done masterful construction, the attention to detail...so many lovely touches...the work you did on our bathroom remodel last year and this addition this year are so much more beautiful than we'd hoped. Thank you and thank you again. As I told Rick, I really don't think of him as a builder as much as I think of him as an artist.
Thanks again...I'm heading into the Westwing now. Have a great night.
